I have offered paper shares with several of the last couple of catalogs and they have been well received. A paper share is a great way to get a sampling of the fabulous papers in the catalog. With a share you get 6x6 pieces of all the papers in the catalog which allows you to see the papers and decide which ones you want to invest in. The 6x6 pieces are great card sized pieces and also make great accent pieces on memory keeping pages.

The share I have created includes 60 pieces of 6x6 Designer Series Paper including the Glimmer Paper on page 57!! You will get at least one piece of each of the papers in the Occasions Catalog. The cost for a share is $22.00 and includes local pick-up at the studio. If you need the share mailed to you then please include an additional $7 for S/H.

Sneak Peek of a fabulous Kit

I was able to sleep in today because of the snow day for our school district. It got me thinking about crafting today while it is snows outside and I wanted to share with you a fabulous card kit coming in the Occasions Catalog. If you are one of my customers (and stamping friends) then yours is probably in the mail and should be showing up soon. If you need one be sure to contact me and I would be happy to send one to you!

So back to the kit. It is called the Lots of Happy Card Kit and it is an all inclusive kit! It includes all the paper pieces and envelopes to make 20 cards (4 each of 5 designs), a stamp set, acrylic block, ink spot, 4 colored pencils and dimensionals. You will need a few other items like scissors and adhesive to successfully complete the cards. I have included the video for you. Andrea from Stampin' Up! does a great job walking you through the kit and offering a few tips and tricks for successful completion. This coming Wednesday is my monthly 4 Card Class. I usually offer the class at both 1:00 and 6:30p. This month due to some scheduling issues I am offering the class beginning at 4pm. You may arrive anytime between 4p and 6pm and complete your cards. This class is offered in a station format so that you complete your cards at your own pace. Please let my know if you are planning to attend so that I can prepare materials for you.

 


I am also going to have Fun Friday this week. The projects will feature sneak peeks of products from the upcoming Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration promotion. When I was in Salt Lake City at the On Stage Live event earlier this month Stampin' Up! unveiled their updated logo. Take a look at the logo on something that you have at your house. What differences do you notice? Comment and let me know.

I am excited for the 30th anniversary celebration! Technically Stampin' Up!'s birthday isn't until October but they will be starting the celebration early! One of the ways they are celebrating early is to make Sale-A-Bration even better than ever! Watch for details coming soon.

It is a little hard to believe that I have been a part of this company for about half of it's life! I started because I wanted to get a discount on my crafting products...then I had a workshop and then two and then I earned a volume rebate and started making car payments! Today I spent some time coloring with the Stampin' Blends. I found them to be VERY easy to use! Have you heard of Copic Alcohol Markers? Each of those has a code and you need to know how to use that code to determine which markers can be used together. The Stampin' Blends are so much easier to use! You can use colors together like the Daffodil Delight and Old Olive to get gorgeous leaves or Pink Pirouette and Rich Razzleberry to create beautiful flowers!

These markers can make anyone color like an artist!! They are so much fun to use and so easy as well. I will be offering a how to at a the studio very soon.
