Stampin' Blends are Here!!

Yippee!! The Stampin' Blends NEW Colors are HERE!!! I ordered all 11 colors today! I LOVE these alcohol markers as they make everyone look like an artist!! I offered a club (monthly buy) when the original colors were introduced earlier this year. I am planning to offer 2 separate clubs both beginning in July. the first will be for those people who only need the 11 new colors and the second will go for a few extra months for those needing all of the Blends.

The Stampin' Blends are available in 22 exclusive Stampin' Up! colors. I have spent time coloring with these markers and found them to be VERY easy to use! They can make anyone color like an artist!! They are so much fun and so easy to use. I will be offering a “how-to” at the studio very soon.

If you invest in the entire set of Stampin' Blends, including the Ivory, Bronze and Color Lifter, it will cost $211.50 plus S/H. I offered a club for the original set of 27 markers when they were introduced earlier this year. It made getting the markers much more affordable and several people took advantage of the opportunity. I am going to offer 2 different blends clubs as soon as they are orderable in mid-June. I will offer one club for all 22 colors plus the ivory, bronze and color lifter markers. I will also offer a club for just the 11 new colors.

When you join the 22 color club you will receive 3 sets of the Stampin' Blends for 2 months along with the 3 single markers (bronze, ivory and color lifter) and 4 sets of markers for 4 months. (July thru November). Payments can be made by check or credit card. If you choose to pay by check, I have to have your check by the 4th of each month. The monthly cost will be $45 and will include several additional items during the club months. Additional items will include a Memento Black ink pad,4 stamp cases for storage, and a stamp set.

Month 1 You will receive 3 sets of Stampin' Blends markers, the Momento Black ink pad and the Color Lifter Marker. Month 2 You will receive 3 sets of Stampin' Blends markers, 2 stamping cases to store your Stampin' Blends markers in, and the Bronze and Ivory markers. Month 3 You will receive 4 sets of the Stampin' Blends markers, and a sampling of embellishments to color with the Blends. Month 4 You will receive 4 sets of the Stampin' Blends markers and a sampling of ribbons to color with the Blends. Month 5 You will receive 4 sets of the Stampin' Blends markers, and 2 more cases for your markers. Month 6 You will receive your final 4 sets of the Stampin' Blends markers and either the Springtime Stroll or Hand Delivered stamp set (choice made at the start of the club with a value of $12).

The 4 month long, 11 new color club will include the 11 new colors of Blends (duos) 2 cases to hold your markers and either the Sitting Here or Heartland stamp set valued at $17.00. The first 3 months will have 3 colors each. Month 2 will include your 2 cases and Month 4 will have 2 colors and your stamp set. (July- October). The monthly cost will be $32 payable by credit card or check. If you are paying by check I will need the payment by the 4th of each month.

Busy Day Today!

So today I met with Stacey Nachajski of Great Brook Marketing. This was our second consultation and she helped me get lots of awesome online work done! I now have 

an Instagram account that is linked to my facebook business page and is helping people

My private Facebook group is called Leslie's Stampin' Pals and will feature samples and tips as 
well as information about classes and events. If I have VIP only information that is where I will

I worked on packaging and pricing paper today. I have lots of unopened packages of 81/2" x 11"
card stock as well as many partial packages of the recently retired colors. Yesterday I priced 

many stamp sets. I have marked them all at 30% of the catalog price. That is less than I paid 
for them and is actually a 40% discount since there is no shipping! Be sure to arrive early for the 
best selection!

Tomorrow I will move a few more tables and pick up things that are not for sale....Big Shots
 and accessories!! Someone saw one of my Big Shots in the background of a photo today 
and asked if it was for sale. No, I often wish I had a third during some classes!

 So did you lose power during last Monday's storm? There was power at the studio but not the 
house so Rich and I took an air mattress and his c-pap and camped out at the studio. It was 
not the best night's sleep I've ever had but way better than at home with no lights, fans, or 

cpap for Rich!!

Spring Classes

Looks like spring might finally have arrived in New Hampshire! The grass is greening up and the daffodils are blooming! I am excited to be offering these classes this month.

4 Card Class on May 9th

The first class I am offering in May is the monthly 4 card class. I offer this class on the second Wednesday of each month. The class fee is $15. This month I have designed a couple birthday cards. There is a Mother's Day card which can have a different greeting as needed. The triple fold card is a feminine birthday card which again can be changed up as needed.

One Sheet Wonder -Spring Foil Cards

In this product based class you will create 14 fabulous cards using one sheet of the Spring Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper that was available during Sale-A-Bration. Your class fee of $37 includes a package of gold foil sheets, a package of Thick White card stock and a package of Whisper White envelopes. The registration deadline is May 11th so that I can order the materials and have them here in time for class. The foil papers add a lovely elegance to these cards. The greetings can be changed to match upcoming occasions that you have.

I just got back from spending several days in Rhode Island with my sister-in-law. It was wonderful to spend time with her and visit.

I am having Fun Friday this coming week (March 30th). If you have placed an order I probably will have it available for pick up. I will also offer my birthday offer again. I have gathered many card fronts from swaps that I have participated in and I am offering them to you with an order. If you choose to order $25 then you can choose 2, if your order is $50 or more you can choose 5 of the card fronts.

I have done a couple of Brusho demonstrations. Here is the result of adding Brusho crystals onto spray starch on Watercolor paper. I covered the paper with plastic wrap and smooshed it around. The trick is waiting for it to dry. In order to get the fabulous effect the plastic wrap must be left on the paper while the starch dries and the waiting is sooo hard!!!

Happy snow day! I know you may be sick of the snow but this is really to be expected in New England! Every year since the year I was born there is a storm within a few days of my birthday. The year I was born my grandmother could not get out of  Bradley Airport in Hartford to fly to Louisiana because of a big storm.  Anyway the snow day gives me a chance to catch up on some computer work and let you know about some fun things happening at the studio and with Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! has added a few great current catalog products to the Sale-A-Bration offerings!!

Picture Perfect Birthday

I am trying something a little new at the studio. I am doing Technique Tuesday class a bit different. At On Stage in Salt Lake City in November I learned about a class another demonstrator was holding with  a lot of success, so I decided to try it for a bit and see how it worked for us! I call it Stamp With Me and Get it FREE. The way it works is that I place an order before class for the stamp sets (you let me know and pay by registration deadline) at the class you use your stamp set to create 3 cards (okay last month it was 4 as I had a hard time narrowing down the options!).

These are a couple of cards the one on the left is one we made in class and the one on the right is similar to one we made using the stamp set and the photorealistic Designer Series Paper caller Picture Perfect Party 6x6 Designer Series Paper.

 



 

This coming month in March the stamp set we will be using is Bird Banter. It is a very cute set that includes outline bird images for coloring and several punny (yup I meant to type that) sayings like "Just a little toucan of my appreciation" and "You are the kind of friend I would share my branch with". I will probably use "A little birdie told me it was your birthday" and the complimentary one "Obviously it wasn't an early bird" quite often! I love making cards but getting a stamp on them and getting them in the mail is often a challenge for me!

 

 

These are a couple cards that I am considering for class. I also have a Waterfall card for this class.

 

The stamp set for April is the amazing Waterfront stamp set. We will use the Brusho Color Crystals for at least one of the cards.  



Going, Going...Gone

So I am sitting here at Mohegan Sun doing a little work while Rich plays a little poker. We had a lovely lunch together after my fabulous massage with a Reflexology add on. I felt so relaxed and wonderful!

I had intended to offer a Spring Sampler Class this coming Sunday but just couldn't get my mojo in gear. I may still try to offer a home decore piece kind of class in April. I would like to try some different types of classes and would love to have your input as to the types of classes you would enjoy taking. Since I couldn't get that class together I decided to offer a class using the 2016-2018 In Colors that will retire soon. The colors are Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. These colors will be available while supplies last once the Retiring List is published in April. Last year the re-inkers and card stock sold out in hours!! I think it was 5 hours actually! If you have ink pads but have not gotten the reinkers please order them NOW!! I feel so bad when people try to order them in May and they are gone!

Anyway the class I am offering Going, Going, Gone will be held at my studio on Sunday, March 4th at 1p. It will include 5 cards made with the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. You will create 1 card in each of the 5 retiring In Colors.

I will have the greetings from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set as well as some others that you can choose from to create the cards that you want and may need. I do need to know by Friday March 2nd if you are planning to attend so I can create the card kit packets. This would be a great time to order your 2016-2018 In Color products before they are gone and earn FREE Sale-A-Bration Products as well!!
